Support for Adria Ponsar and family

"We can do hard things."

Anyone that knows Adria Ponsar - our dear friend, family member, and sister in Christ - has heard her repeat this mantra. Through all manner of challenges that she has encountered in life, this phrase has been a touchstone and reminder of what is possible.

And it has never been more true than it is now.

In January, Adria was diagnosed with early stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC).

As we all know, Adria is a force of nature - a hardworking, fierce woman who handles everything that life throws at her. However, cancer is a big new challenge, and its treatment can be just as ferocious. Chemotherapy saps the strength of even the strongest, which is why we are rallying around Adria now.

Along with Adria, we believe that we can do hard things; the crucial word being "we" - all of us together.

On her behalf, we are asking for help for Adria, Nate and their family. Prayers, meals, donations, gift cards, whatever it is that you can do.

The plan is for her to receive 6 months of chemo - once every 3 weeks - followed by surgery, with the hope being that it will remove any remaining cancerous cells. Her first chemo treatment will be on Tuesday, February 28th.

The funds raised here will go to offset medical bills and co-pays, chemotherapy and surgery. Any excess funds will be used to help support Adria and her family in any other ways they need - groceries, cleaning, etc. **All funds donated here go directly to Adria.**
