Adrian Eldridge's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
On Wednesday, October 10th, Adrian was out logging in a field near his home in Orleans, IN. His tractor hit a sinkhole and suddenly overturned. He sustained a burst fracture of the first lumbar vertebra. He was airlifted to Bloomington hospital where he had surgery to stabilize his spine. Currently, he has movement and sensation in both legs so the long-term prognosis should be favorable, but recovery will be a long and arduous path. He is currently working with physical therapists to get back to baseline and hopefully will be home soon. He is in good spirits, and is keeping a copy of his Sacred Harp & Lloyd's hymnal at his bedside.
Adrian does not have medical insurance. While we think much of the cost of the surgery, airlifting, etc. will be covered, during the road to recovery Adrian will not be able to work. Furthermore, there will be the costs of driving to receive quality medical care for many months to come.
Please consider donating to help Adrian and his family remain solvent through this difficult time.
