Hi, my name is Adria and I am the mother of the bravest and smartest child I have EVER known, Adrian “Mike” Lewis. And unfortunately after two long years of battling neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer, Mike gained his beautiful wings on January 10, 2024. Devastation is an understatement. The pain of losing him has no description. No parent should ever have to bury an innocent child. However, this is now our family’s reality. Not only was Mike’s passing devastating, but also unexpected. Both emotionally and financially. Planning for a memorial service for Mike was the furthest thing from my thought process. Our family anticipated on his full recovery, return to school, and more sweet memories with him. However, God claimed and healed Mike from this vicious disease. I am reaching out to our community, friends and loved ones to help donate towards Mike’s memorial service to give him the recognition he deserves and to give his loved ones a chance to say their final goodbyes to my sweet boy. Mike’s memorial service is estimated to $5,000. However, any support towards his memorial would be an absolute blessing to him and our family.
