Adrianna Stull, forever Jeremy Stull's true love

Hello, my name is Melissa Higby. My beautiful daughter-in-law, Adrianna Stull, died peacefully at home on 5/26/22 after a fierce, brave, courageous, and most devastating battle with aggressive brain cancer. As she was known to many, Anna was only 31 years old when a cancerous glioblastoma brain tumor took her life. Merely 69 days lapsed from the first afternoon when she came home from work, sick with a headache and nausea, until the day she passed away peacefully at home. Her husband (my son), Jeremy Stull, was by her side every minute of the day while she fought for her life. Anna and Jeremy continued to share loving words and kisses until the last day. Sadly, numerous medical and living expenses will create an incredible hardship for Jeremy as he moves forward. My love for my son has made me want to take the initiative to set up this platform as an opportunity to reach out here for any help I might offer him to set up this site for anyone willing to help commemorate Anna and allow Jeremy to grieve without devastating financial burdens. Any contribution will help. I'd love to share their story, all too brief that it is.
Anna and Jeremy met 16 years ago in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. One year later they were reunited as they walked down the aisle together as a bridesmaid and groomsman in a relative's wedding. She was on the bride's side and he was on the groom's. Four short years later, they were the bride and groom at their own wedding. Their love story was inspirational as it evolved and grew through the years.
Jeremy and Anna loved to travel, especially to warm, tropical locations. A wedding gift was a map of the world that they used to chart their recent, current, and wished for destinations. They loved National Parks, caving expeditions, underwater adventures, and being immersed in nature. Other enjoyable activities included playing and hosting complex, strategic board game parties with friends and family. They were involved with multiple board gaming communities and had amassed hundreds of intensely strategic formats in their collection. They visited over 60 Escape Rooms, enjoyed friends and family visits, and spending time at a pool in the hot sun. They adopted their little pup, Gannon, and he was always included in their adventures.
Anna grew up in Marengo, IL, graduating from Roosevelt University with a Bachelors Degree in Education, emphasizing in science. She worked in high school education for six years, of which four of those years were at Alden-Hebron High School where she was hired to head their Science curriculum. In 2020, she accepted her dream position teaching science at Marengo Community Middle School, where she attended school as a youth.
She loved all things Harry Potter, Disney movies (her fave was The Little Mermaid), attending Jeremy’s softball games, country music, nature, laughter, and was always happy to get a frozen coke or nachos and cheese at Taco Bell.
Anna's family will miss her beautiful and genuine smile as she truly loved her family and friends. She was a gentle soul with a fierce spirit, great intelligence, and tremendous enthusiasm for what life had in store for herself and her loving husband.
