Adrienn Smith

We are organizing this GoFundMe page to help someone very dear to the Fishers Island community, Adrienn Smith, and her family.

 

Adrienn first came to the Island 10 years ago to work at the Big Club. There, she met, fell in love with and married John Smith. After six years of working together, Adrienn left the Club to focus on raising their beautiful daughter, Jessica Joy.

 

Not only do John and Adrienn have a combined history of over 30 years working at the Big Club but they also are a wonderful part of the year-round community.

 

Sadly, Adrienn was recently diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer that has already spread to her liver. Her doctor has determined that treatment will need to begin immediately and be ongoing. The hopeful prognosis is 10 years.

 

Unfortunately, Adrienn does not have health insurance and, as you can imagine, the costs are going to be astronomical (the chemo alone costs $10,000/month).

 

The hope for this GoFundMe Page is to ease some of the financial burden and stress so that Adrienn can focus on her health, treatments and spending precious time with her family.
