YWAM Oxford, New Zealand

Kia Ora friends!

In just a few days I'm headed back to New Zealand for round 2 of YWAM! For those of you who don't know, YWAM is Youth With A Mission, which is a Christian missionary training organization focussed on equipping youth for missionary outreach worldwide. Last year, I completed my Discipleship Training School with YWAM Pursuits in Matamata, NZ which included 2 months in the Philippines! During DTS, my faith in God was revolutionized & there was a radical change in my heart which prompted me to answer the call to missions & discipleship God placed in my heart, "Whom shall I send?...Here am I, Send me!" Isaiah 6:8

So this time, I'm heading back to the South Island to staff a Backpackers Discipleship Training School at YWAM Oxford & attend the Basic Leadership School for a full year!

BACKPACKERS is a school based on making connections and sharing the Gospel with the heaps of other backpackers who make their way through NZ every year! It's 1 part realationship building, 1 part multiculturalism, & 1 part free-spirited, backpacking fun!

BASIC LEADERSHIP SCHOOL is required for all new staff members & allows us extra opportunity to refine our leadership skills, receive mentorship, & grow in God's word.

I'm crazy excited for this amazing challenge & opportunity ahead! Stepping into leadership at new school will definitely be a challenge but I've been abundantly blessed with prayer & words of encouragement from everyone!

I ask for your continued prayer & support, especially for the transition ahead as I say goodbye to friends & family. And if you are able to help me with finances, I am looking to raise $5000 to help pay for my staff & outreach fees (room & board, transport, food). If you're unable to help financially, I still ask for your prayers & encouragements as I embark on this journey!
