The Simms Family

As some are aware my mom has been suffering from severe medical issues now for the last 15 years. Last week she was suddenly rushed to St. Marys hospital where she was placed in the ICU for 6 days. She suffered from high blood pressure, alarmingly low oxygen levels and problems with her heart. We were not sure if she was going to make it as she was barely concious. In addition to this, she has a problem with her kidney. She has a tube on her right side going into her back to drain the kidney but there is talk of removing the kidney all together. All we can do right now is wait patiently and hope for the best. In the end, all of this resulted in my dad and I having to take off a significant amount of work. Therefore making ends meet has become virtually impossible. We both have full time jobs but it seems that we are not able to keep up. This felt like my last resort to try to help my family.
