From 1985-2009, I worked in the heat treatment industry. In those 25 years, I maintained and operated heat treat equipment, supervised production, implemented quality management systems, and performed management functions. I began a relationship with PRI/Nadcap in 2009, first as an instructor for the former eQuaLified and eQuaLearn, and shortly thereafter as a Nadcap Lead Auditor for heat treat and aerospace quality systems. In 2018, I added AS9100 AA authentication to my portfolio.

During the last 15 years performing audits for Nadcap and AS9100 certification bodies, I have not forgotten which side of the audit table I originated from. I have gained many private consulting clients and assisted in many audit resolutions.

In order to stay on top of this ever-changing industry, I have gotten deeply involved in the AMEC committee, AMSB committee, ASTM committees, and Nadcap meetings with the goal of continuously improving the success of the industry. To that end, I am just one person trying to make a living auditing and consulting. Participation in all of these groups means not only losing income to attend but also paying heavy travel expenses out of my own pocket.

The intent of this page is to obtain your support to defray the costs of attending and contributing to these various groups and committees. My goal is not to take any particular side of the Prime/Supplier relationship, but to give those who don't have the time or staffing to support these meetings a voice at the table and to improve the system as a whole.
