Urgent Help Needed to Evacuate Family from Gaza
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Khaled Issa, a Ph.D. student at the University of Louisville, currently residing in Kentucky. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for urgent assistance.
I hail from Gaza and have personally experienced the devastating impact of five aggressions by the Israeli occupation, the most recent one being in 2021. I managed to leave Gaza in May 2023, just before the October 2023 aggression unfolded. However, my immediate family, including my father, mother, a sister, and a five brothers, are still trapped there.
Since the recent aggression began, communication with my family has become nearly impossible. They are enduring unimaginable hardships, and I fear for their safety every day. My only dream is to reunite with them and ensure their safety away from the constant threat of bombings.
I am married and have a daughter who arrived just a week ago from the conflict zone, adding another layer of urgency to this situation. They, too, need a secure and stable environment.
Moreover, my brother in Algeria is studying to become a veterinarian . Unfortunately, due to the current situation, my family is unable to send him the necessary funds to support his education and well-being.
I am desperately seeking funds to facilitate the evacuation of my family from Gaza. The situation is dire, and the risk of harm is imminent. I have attached two photos for your reference. The first is a picture from my brother's wedding before fve months fromOctober 7th, representing happier times.
In the second photo, taken at my brother's wedding (excluding my brother Salem, who is currently in Algeria), you'll see Ahmed, Ibrahim, Abdmajeed, Osama, and myself, along with our father.
Your support can make a world of difference in saving precious lives. Please consider contributing to help me bring my family to safety. Every donation, no matter how small, will contribute to giving my family a chance at a safer and more secure future.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
Sincerely,
Khaled Issa
