Secure Hunter's Safe and Happy Life

Hello my name is Jasmine Chermansky, my wife, Kayleigh Norton, and I are attempting to start this in hopes for a miracle. My wife and I are the type of people that grinds and gets things for our own, but we are short timed and in desperate need for help. This little boy is Hunter. He is 3 years old , and we have took on the responsibility of him since March 1st, 2024 (10 months now). Hunters mom gave Hunter away to us because she says she didn’t have the mental capacity or “never asked to be a mom.” Her words. Hunters father, hasn’t had anything to do with Hunter for 2 years straight. Today in court, the father says he’s not agreeing to it and wants his kid back but has yet to do anything to change his anger problems / lack of parenting for a child he hasn’t seen since he was 1. and we’re worried sick that he will get him and take him away. Before we got hunter he was black under his eyes , and missing patches of his hair , due to stress and neglect said by his doctor. We don’t want this little boy to be took away from us and go back to his old lifestyle. He is only 3 and his story’s bigger that we could even think of. Hunter is a year and a half behind on his development, we’ve started him in speech class, and he’s slowly but surely talking a whole lot more and being more able to engage. We’ve talked to a few lawyers and their fee is $5,000. Anything is appreciated, and if you can’t we could take your prayers instead.
