Group IV is a small budding theatrical company based in New York City. Group IV's mission is to create plays that reflect the current social, economical and political state of its audiences. We dedicate ourselves to here and now.
Group IV's second production, directed and produced by William H. Gaffney IV is "A Fable for the Living" by Kevin Brockmeier. The show is an adaptation of Brockmeier's short story. The fable follows the tale of a country of people who can only speak to the dead through writing. What is lost is found in this gut-wrenching piece challenging the meaning of life and death.
The performance is free to the public and will be held on December 4th and 5th at 8pm in The Alchemical. 104 West 14th Street, NY.

It makes it possible to bring affordable, well-mediated art to the forefront in NYC. We hope "A Fable for the Living" to be an amazing experience for all, and your generous contribution helps to make that happen!
Budget breakdown:
$385 provides rehearsal space for the whole process
$880 provides performance space for three evenings and dress rehearsal space for one evening.
$200 provides props
which leaves an extra $135 for food and beverage for the three performances making for a grand total of $2,000
By contributing $15 you'll pay for one hour in the studo for rehearsal. Any contribution from cents to dollars is a huge step forward.
The cast is made-up of Magen A. Young , Chelsea LeSage, Becca Sanborn, Hadley Mueller and Libby Munson.
