Help Amanda

My little cousin and her husband need help. She is once again fighting for her life. Amanda has been fighting for her life almost since the day she was born. As a baby, she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. She spent the first five years in and out of hospitals. But I will say She kicked cancer's ass!

The treatment she needed to extend her life as a child made it, so she spent the majority of her life fighting to live. She spent her school-age years as an ordinary kid after the age of 6. However, at 20, Amanda developed double pneumonia, which led to organ failure. She has been fighting to live and for new organs since she was 20 years old. All her life, all Amanda wanted was to live a normal life.

I can't tell you how excited we were a few weeks ago when we were told that a kidney was coming. We have had 2 Kidney matches in the last month. The problem is that the defibrillator needed for her weakened heart made her get an infection. This infection has led to the most brutal fight to live Amanda may have ever faced. But, I will say that if anyone can fight this, she can. She is the strongest and most caring/loving person I know.

She has had her husband Josh by her side through all of this. Josh has been by her side since the beginning. However, he recently got let go because he was absent for too many days taking care of her. Due to that, they are over 5,000 in debt and close to eviction.

I want to help them out by easing their financial burdens. My goal is to allow them to focus on Amanda's immediate care and, hopefully, recovery. I'm hoping if we can relieve some of the financial stress, it will give them both the peace of mind to provide the attention needed for her to heal.
