Afford medications

Hello all, my name is Shelby Owens. I never would’ve thought I’d come to a situation where creating a GoFundMe was my last hope, but that’s currently the reality of our situation right now. My father, Tim Owens, who is 58 years old, recently had to retire within the past year due to heart complications and his overall health. He was recently cut a large sum on his Social Security income as well as losing his health insurance. With his heart issues & diabetes, the medications he’s prescribed are thousands of dollars. It breaks my heart to see him hurt and at a loss for what he’s supposed to do to make ends meet and especially somehow afford his medications. My parents have always done everything and anything they could throughout mine and my sisters life, to keep us afloat & if there was anyway possible I can help them at their lowest, that would mean the world to them. It pains me more than anything to see them feel so defeated & at a loss for what they’re supposed to do. I know this may be an odd reason to create a GoFundMe, but if he isn’t able to get his medications for his heart, and his additional health issues, I’m afraid for what could happen. This is really the last thing I’d ever want to have to do, but I hope maybe anyone’s who’s able to be of help could, in anyway - even if it’s just by prayer.
