Afghan Youth Soccer Program

We are reaching out for your consideration in sponsoring our youth soccer club, Bamika FC. BFC was formed in June of 2022 to create a place for the youth of the Afghan community in the Sacramento/Elk Grove region to get together and participate in organized soccer activities. As most of our players and their families are recent refugees to America, our hope and intent is to make the sport of soccer a positive outlet for them as they adjust to their new reality. In addition, we believe that physical activity, particularly soccer, will allow our children to develop socially, mentally, and emotionally and become contributing members of our society.

One hundred percent of funds from our sponsors will help provide uniforms, equipment, and help cover fees related to field rentals and tournament registrations. There are no administrative costs and the entire staff is on a voluntary basis. As of today, we have over 65 players attending our weekly practices, and our numbers continue to grow as word of our soccer club spreads among the Afghan community.
