Afghanistan Ramadan Relief 2025- APA
Donation protected
Alhamdulillah, we are fast approaching Ramadan, a month of immense mercy, forgiveness, and reward. It is a precious opportunity for us to draw closer to Allah through fasting, prayer, and acts of charity.
This year as Ramadan is arriving sooner and in colder weather, we have decided to combine our usual winter fundraising with the Ramadan appeal. With your generous support, we aim to provide essential food packages right at the start of Ramadan to Afghan families enduring severe poverty. These packages will sustain them for the entire month, ensuring they can break their fasts with dignity and ease during this holy time.
Since the launch of APA in 2019, your contributions have made it possible for us to deliver vital support to those in need. Together, we’ve helped countless families, and your compassion has truly been a lifeline for those facing hardship.
We are committed to maintaining our 100% donation policy, ensuring every penny you donate—whether as Sadaqah or Zakat—goes directly towards helping those who need it most.
This Ramadan, let’s come together once again to share our blessings and bring hope to struggling families in Afghanistan. Your generosity can make a lasting difference.

What happens to your donations?
Your generous donations are securely transferred to a trusted family member in Afghanistan (Mohammad Sharif Rahimi) who has volunteered to help with our projects on the ground. After qualifying the families genuinely in need, we safely hand over your donations. Transparency is very important to us, hence the projects will always be documented for those who require evidence of our work. We want you to donate with confidence knowing where your funds are going and how it’s helping families out of poverty.
Live updates will be shared on our official Facebook and Instagram pages @AfghanPovertyAid

Why APA?
It's worrying to find how many charities use a great percentage of donations to pay for their offices, employees, and other so-called "Administration" costs, yet very little reaches the poor. For this reason I (Mahmod Darwishi) started Afghan Poverty Aid (APA) to ensure 100% of donations reaches the intended destination. We aim to help the poorest families in Afghanistan when they need it most.
Please donate generously and share our GoFundMe link with friends and family!
