Afghanistan Ramadan 2024- APA
Donation protected
Alhamdulillah we have reached another blessed month of Ramadan meaning we are amongst the fortunate ones who have been given the opportunity to seek Allah's forgiveness through fasting, prayer, and charity.
This Ramadan together with you, we would like to provide a whole month's food package for Afghan families who are suffering from poverty and cannot afford the essential food supplies to break their fast during this holy month.
Following our successful fundraising campaigns since our mission began in 2019, APA will continue to provide the needed support for families living through poverty in Afghanistan. This has only been possible with the help of all your generous donations which we are truly grateful for and would appreciate your support once again.
APA has a 100% donation policy, so you can be sure everything donated will go directly to the poor whether it's for SADAQAH or ZAKAT.

Parwan flood relief: Over £13,000 raised in collaboration with Omid Farda charity in London.
What happens to your donations?
Your generous donations are securely transferred to a trusted family member in Afghanistan (Mohammad Sharif Rahimi) who has volunteered to help with our projects on the ground. After qualifying the families genuinely in need, we safely hand over your donations. Transparency is very important to us, hence the projects will always be documented for those who require evidence of our work. We want you to donate with confidence knowing where your funds are going and how it’s helping families out of poverty.
Live updates will be shared on our official Facebook and Instagram pages @AfghanPovertyAid
Videos are also uploaded on YouTube @Afghanpovertyaid
Why APA?
It's worrying to find how many charities use a great percentage of donations to pay for their offices, employees, and other so-called "Administration" costs, yet very little reaches the poor. For this reason I, Mahmod Darwishi based in London, United Kingdom started Afghan Poverty Aid (APA) to ensure 100% of donations reaches the intended destination. As an Afghan born individual, I would like to fulfil my duty and help the suffering citizens of my homeland. We aim to help the poorest families in Afghanistan when they need it most.
Please donate generously and share our GoFundMe link with friends and family!
Thank You,
