Since the establishment of AYA, programs implemented mainly were funded and supported by the organization's members to tackle the scorching threat of low-quality education in Africa.
We have exciting news! This project is already transforming Primary Education in Africa!
We serve approximately 1000 underprivileged students in Africa, oriented 1000 rural parents in The Gambia about their roles in enhancing their children's education by actively assisting them in learning.
Learning and living go hand in hand; we renovated a school in rural Gambia to
transform the learning environment for underprivileged primary school students.
Offer scholarships to ten students to learn coding, robotics, and electronics during the Kids in Technology Bootcamp. In addition, we provide grants to youth projects which share our values.
In 2020 AYA established its Research Lab as a project that spotlights promising approaches to persistent challenges in Africa's education systems. These test technologies help innovate teaching methods, focusing on an inclusive process that can consider every student's needs and boost teamwork engagement and problem-solving.
In 2021 AYA launched the first AYA-owned program, “Create and innovate in SDG4,” to enhance the creativity and innovation of African youth in achieving the United Nations SDG4 2030 targets and commitments where we provided a fully funded training program worth $500 to 40 young Africans from across the African continent.
14th May 2022 marked an important day for the first Batch of the AYA Research lab; 38 students as they graduated from AYA Professional Certificate Program in Educational Research "Create and Innovate in SDG4 Program." and are on the brink of joining a dynamic network of accomplished scholars and professionals around the world.
Hence AYA operates as a platform that works to provide the next generation of African leaders a safe space where they will gain operative skills, experiences and exposure to personal development, active citizenship and access to mentors; we anticipate to double our effort in shaping the African continent and the world as significant through youth engagement and help them discover solutions about the diverse global issues.
Each of you will help shape the future of Africa; we remain grateful for your support. If this campaign inspires you, please donate and share.
