Afro Generals Community Work

We are The Afro Generals, a dance team from Uganda, East Africa. Our passion is spreading love, laughter, and positive energy to the world through the art of dance.

Our mission is to be a resource in our community, helping families with food, school fees, books, and other basic necessity items that aren't in reach for most due to an economic hardship within our community.

As we are being a resource to others, we had a vision to purchase land and build a dance studio. This space will provide shelter, so we may train and perform during inclement weather, be a space where we can educate, motivate, and allow the dancers to develop an appreciation of the fine art of dance. It will be our command center and HUB where we can organize, arrange, and coordinate all donations and supplies for our community walks. Last but not least, it will be a place where we can put on events and host visitors that come in from all over the world to see the work we are doing.

We've already started this process, but we can't achieve our goals on our own. Our social media family from all over the earth has partnered with us to see this dream come true. As we walk more communities,  we are finding a greater need, so we are looking to expand our reach and territory to help more families and more communities. Any size donation you contribute, we are thankful for. We've pledged a portion of all donations collected to be used for the studio.
