Aphrodite's medical bills

Afroditi was diagnosed with a faulty mitral valve, an atrial septal defect and a respiratory deficiency at  the age of 16. She replaced her natural valve with a mechanic one in 2004 and closed the hole in her atrial septal with an open heart bypass operation.
She had a few years where she enjoyed life as much as she could. The past 5 years we received devastating news of low life expectancy if she doesn't have another heart operation. Afroditi spent April of 2016 in a respiratory coma and despite the small chances of surviving she came out of she but has been very poorly ever since.

While visiting me (her sister) in Scotland she fell ill but unfortunately despite our efforts to get medical insurance that proved impossible so we need to pay the medical bills by ourselves.

Afroditi is unemployed and given her condition she cannot work and doesn't have a steady income. I try and support her financially as much as possible. She is a young, positive girl and is trying her best to enjoy life :)

We are currently trying to cover some of the amount we have been charged by the NHS for her visit at the Royal Infirmary.
