Afro-Pinup is an art/passion project that celebrates the history and work of black and brown women in performance art. 

Mission
Afro-Pinup celebrates brown women in burlesque, fashion, performance art and other artistic mediums through building awareness and an archive of their rich history. Afro-Pinup provides lectures, events, exhibitions, and special projects that incorporate the significant contribution brown women have made to culture and art, provides support to contemporary artists who share our passion for this history, and empowers women through positive body image.
