Comedian and Chess tutor Kevin James Doyle will be performing a chess themed comedy show After Endgame at Soho Playhouse from February 11-March 8th. During the run he is going to be playing chess all around New York City to promote his show and raise 10k for The Gift of Chess. 'The show is all about how you can use chess strategy in life,' Doyle says, 'Organizations like The Gift of Chess are bringing this incredible game to people all around the world. And I want to raise $10,000 so schools, prisons and refugee camps will be supplied chess boards where they can enjoy the worlds greatest game'
A chess lesson and a life lesson by comedian and storyteller Kevin James Doyle, who has a wealth of experience teaching over 6500 chess lessons. Doyle takes the audience on a journey across the world as he is flown to the vibrant city of Singapore at the behest of a mysterious investor, Doyle found himself imparting chess wisdom to some of the world's wealthiest individuals. The tension rises as Kevin navigates these high-stakes players, both on and off the chessboard.
