Hurricane Ian flooded my daughters house
Donation protected
My daughter Savannah and her fiancé Dylan live in Cape Coral, FL where Hurricane Ian made landfall. The storm surge was devastatingly high down her road due to the canal across the street in the front of her house and the preserved wetlands behind her house. Luckily, they were able to evacuate to a friends house more inland. Her car was ruined in the flood along with so many of their belongings inside the house. The water rose so high in the house that pieces of their furniture had floated and shifted around. Savannah and Dylan packed up what was salvageable into his truck and started their journey to VA with their cat and dog to be with their support system and prepare for their wedding on October 15th. Savannah and Dylan are staying with family but they’ve lost their bed, couch, dressers, tables, desk, shoes, clothes, and everything they’ve accrued in their home over the past several years. Anything you have to contribute, even just thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Thank you.
