After the earthquake, Help Albania
On Tuesday November 26th, Albania was hit by its worst earthquake in decades. At least 31 people have been killed, many more are missing, and over hundreds have been injured. I will be flying to Albania on December 2nd to personally make sure this money gets to the Albanian people who need it most - those who need food, water, and their homes rebuilt. Bebe and her team will withdraw the money to a US-based account and then transfer it to a secure account managed in Albania by the Doppler-Al Shpk construction company. The company's administrator Xhili Mestani will then direct it to the builders who are doing the important reconstruction work for two family's homes – which is currently in the planning phase.
