After toxic mold destruction & medical issues

Hi, my name is Jackie Gambone and Heather Silver is one of the main reasons I am still standing. She was an incredible help to me and my family after we lost our baby halfway through pregnancy and another baby about six months later.

Heather helps everyone she knows. She puts everyone else before herself. She has helped people with therapy, friendship, money, and the list goes on. She is always there for the ones that she loves. She is always there for people she doesn't even know. Her husband and six children are absolutely incredible human beings as well. I love them with my whole soul and I know many of you feel the same way. They are a family that I would do anything to help and I'm hoping that you will jump in to help as well.

Last month there was a sump pump overflow in their basement. As a result, the carpet was taken up and 2 feet of drywall taken out as per protocol… Only to find mold that was then tested and deemed toxic. The insulation was black. This poor family had been experiencing medical issues for months prior to this discovery. Asthma, passing out and hospital stays, migraines, weight loss, stomach aches, and the list goes on. If you look at the medical side effects of toxic mold it would describe what was going on with Heather and her family. After speaking to many lawyers, and because of a ridiculous Fungus provision in the policy of insurance, the insurance will not cover more than $15,000. The damage to the house is unbelievably extensive. I just walked through her house with my jaw on the floor. I can't even believe that not only do they have to be living out of their house for the foreseeable future, but the house is a complete and utter disaster.

Heather, Marcus, and their children would never ask for help. They look at everything with the glass half full… No, they look at it with the glass completely full. So they probably would want to punch me for starting this go fund me but I don't care. They need our help and since they won't ask for it, I'm asking for it. If you know this family or you have empathy for this unthinkable circumstance, please donate. No donation is too little.

I know if it was a fire or tornado a tornado, etc., they would've had the insurance covering everything and it wouldn't have been a problem. But because of this provision, again, it is a huge problem for this sweet family. Thank you in advance for giving whatever you can to help!
