Agassi International Academy, Bo, Sierra Leone

My name is Agassi F Bangura, an artist of Sierra Leonian origin, educated and based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Currently, I´m halfway through building and operating a fully functional school, catering for underprivileged, disabled, and disadvantaged kids from poor and underdeveloped communities in a developing West African country, called Sierra Leone.

In the outskirts of Bo, Sierra Leone's second-largest city, I inherited some land 10 years ago. Based on my knowledge, understanding and experience of a lack of proper schooling system in the region growing, I decided to fund and initiate a new academy to educate and help future generations. In 2022, the land was cleared and the foundation was built.

Since then, we are in an active development phase towards building the classrooms and staff buildings, whilst also maintaining close relations with the local and national governments.

Since the Agassi International Academy so far has been partly self-funded, and the rest coming from donations, We hope to raise more resources and help from new sponsors, both here on Gofundme, and various blockchain networks.

You´re more than welcome to contribute financially in any way you can, any sum will be part of realising the vision. Also needed are construction materials, school equipment, electronics, laptops, running water, and logistics; there are many things needed for the school. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Once the academy is completed, the plan is to hand it over to the local community and the Sierra Leonian government to run and operate it.
