Agatha Mason fighting Multiple Myeloma Cancer
Donation protected
Agatha Mason lives in Jamaica she is a very loving, and hardworking single mom, as I remember her to be. Agatha visited every sick person in her community, she ensured she would be there for every family member, to support them in the good and hard times. She did every job possible to keep a roof over her head and raise her kids, grandkids, and nieces and nephews. For several years she worked at a construction sight mixing cement by hand, or going door to door offering laundry service by hand. She has been severely ill for the past few months from one doctor visit to the next, receiving several misdiagnoses while in excruciating pain, things then charged for the worst when she lost consciousness and became disoriented to people, places, and situations. She has now been hospitalized for the last 3 months, after several tests and medical workups. She was diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer, that has shifted to her spine. She has lost the full range of motion of her legs, she has lost her independence. My heart wept to hear her moan in pain for days from a mile away as I visited her at the hospital, Agatha's MRI showed a tumor suppressing her spin, which caused her spine to be dislocated and some parts fractured.
The medical team came up with a plan of care which included surgery, to remove the tumor and stabilize her spine with some medical equipment. With the unexpected illness, it took a toll on her financially, being admitted at the hospital unable to work or provide the basic needs for herself and her family, has become a huge burden, which we think is affecting her psychologically. We are kindly asking for any assistance we can get, to help her with her surgery, and lift the stress of worrying about the care of this world, we love to have her on her feet again. Her family, friends, and loved ones would love to give her a fighting chance of survival. Let's fight cancer together!
