Age of Quorum, a psychological thriller about New Year’s Eve

Hi there, my name is Yoms and I’m a first-time director and writer "Age of Quorum", a short psychological thriller about the fever-pitch excitement surrounding a young man’s New Year's Eve as the clock anxiously ticks closer to midnight.
My vision for Age of Quorum is to capture the excitement and expectation surrounding New Year's Eve, to highlight the importance of friendship, and to show that even with the best laid plans it can all go "Pete Tong".
This is a film about a lonely and precarious nighttime adventure in a city that is one of the last radical places left in the UK. It's a warts-and-all look at what could happen if you were to take the wrong turn and evokes memories of The Bonfire of the Vanities. The film itself is about 'the night' and that there's always room for hope.
While the characters lead the story, I also want the various locations to influence how you feel the film.
I have taken inspiration from Peter Greenway's "The Cook, Thief, Wife and His Lover", Wim Wenders "Paris, Texas" and David Fincher's "Fight Club".
