Ageless Teenagers British Rowing Indoor Rowing Championships

From a heartfelt passion to give back to Windrush Pioneers from 1948 onwards a group known today as 'Ageless Teenagers' was born.
Many of the core treasured members are active retirees freed from the restrictions of the workplace, but their life is not over. Some of our Ageless Teenagers are using their skills to forge new paths in this 'growing older' in unique awe inspiring ways. A core group have become 'Cool Rowers' of the indoor variety. To be honest they still cut a dash and seem to be getting younger... Hence 'ageless'.
Let me explain. Weininger Irwin's passion is to create opportunities for 'ALL" ages, races and abilities to improve health and, wellbeing for everyone from primary school age and beyond. As part of this drive, Weininger's mission is to introduce and adapt wherever necessary not only the concept of rowing, but also participation in rowing for all.
The aim is to break down barriers to watching and participating. My personal experience over many years has highlighted the lack of significant diversity across the spectrum of the indoor and outdoor arena. With this in mind, especially for the Elders in the community, an Ageless Teenager has become our Poster Girl.
Known to many as Miss Hazel, at aged 86 years young! she will be competing in the British Indoor Rowing Championship this Saturday 7th December 2024 in Birmingham NEC.
Miss Hazel recently met Jeremy Vine at the BBC Studios to prove exactly what she is capable of. No pressure... :)
Can you help us with a donation.... to assist Miss Hazel and other Ageless Cool Rowers raise the roof of the NEC Arena for 2024 and beyond. This is just the start. Our Pioneers came to help rebuild... They embedded and changed this Nation. Windrush, Ageless, Cool Rowers ... Here we come!
