Donation protected
Please join us in this auspicious opportunity to build a new chariot for Lord Jagannath, bring His mercy to thousands of people, and allow His darshan to capture their hearts.
ISKCON of North Carolina, also known as New Goloka, the temple of Sri Sri Radha Golokananda, is building a new chariot for the pleasure of Lord Jagannatha, Baladeva, and Subhadra and needs donations to support the $36,500 project.
The current chariot is suited only for smaller Jagannatha, Baladeva, and Subhadra deities. It is used as a float in parades across various cities in the RTP area (Research Triangle Park).
Ratha yatra at New Goloka, over the years:
- regular yearly Ratha Yatras since 2016
- a minimum of 4 times a year
- regular participation at Christmas and Thanksgiving parades in various cities - Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Hillsborough
- giving Jagannatha's darshan to 10,000-30,000 spectators at each event
The new chariot will help:
- take bigger Jagannatha, Baladeva, and Subhadra deities to Ratha Yatras and parades
- expand to other cities in North Carolina, from the mountains to the beaches
- create a bigger impact and serve in Srila Prabhupada's mission.
