Macmillan Cancer support

So this is me 15 years ago, planning a healthy later life. And a lot less grey. I will be 55 next week.

8 weeks ago I went to A&E with a broken toe. Two weeks later I was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Last week, 17 May, I was advised that I have 12 months to live.

During this time I have been fully supported by Macmillan nurses, as has my sister. They have made our lives so much easier at a difficult time.

Having worked in the charity sector for most of my career I have been lucky never to need the support of a charity until now.

I have therefore decided to set up this fundraising page to ensure the support I am receiving can carry on being delivered to other people in future.
