Sponsor Fasting Families in Syria
Donation protected
For my birthday this year, I am asking friends and family to help me raise money to support Syrians in need as the 2011 uprising for justice and dignity continues.
From when I was a baby, my summers were spent in Syria, which meant I celebrated many birthdays in Damascus, where my parents grew up, or Hama, where my mother's family is from. I am thankful that I am able to enjoy turning 28 safely knowing that I could easily have been born in different circumstances that would have affected my life dramatically the past three years.
Help me raise $1,500 by July 3 for NuDay Syria. The money will be used to provide around 300 meals to Syrians to break their fast with this Ramadan. The last time I was in Damascus was August 2010 during Ramadan, and I have the most precious memories from then.
Please donate $14, $28, or any amount you can. I truly appreciate you helping me achieve this goal.
