Aharen, as you all know, is a leader in our community. She is a mother and a teacher to so many. Her genuine feminine self has held the heads of many to her bosom. She is a giver. Due to a medical diagnosys, she's made the difficult decision to undergo a double mastectomy this week, and she has little children to care for. She's scared, and as the main breadwinner for her family, any amount will help during her lengthy recovery.

Update : After a terrible delay due to her medical team's scheduling, she has had her surgery! It took about five hours, but she is home and resting. She's in pain, immobile for the next few weeks, and still needs more financial help to cover meals for her family and to offset this time off of work. She's such a strong woman, and she'll get through this. THANK YOU to everyone who has given so far.
