Please join us in supporting Tara, Lauren, and their husbands who have lost their homes and everything except the clothes on their backs in the Palisades Fire. The two sisters have five children between them and had dreams of raising their families 5 minutes apart in their shared neighborhood that is now decimated. Lauren and Seth are parents to twin boys (age 6) and a precious baby girl (7 months). Tara and Bryan are parents to a daughter (age 5) and a toddler son (age 2).

On January 7th, everything changed. They raced to their children’s school to evacuate them as the fire marched down the hills, and then fled abruptly with nothing but the clothes they were wearing, no idea they would return to a city of ash. Their homes burnt down, and they lost everything. As if that wasn’t enough, Tara’s and Lauren’s parents were evacuated from another LA wildfire at the same time.

Thankfully, they are all safe, but immediate needs are great and the road to rebuilding a whole life will be long, distressing for their children, and very costly. The loss is extensive and touches every part of their life.

Provide housing for their families
Replace essentials in order to return to work (basic clothing, computers, Seth's surgical loupes)
Provide children with basic essentials
Provide childcare without school available while parents scramble to find new places to live, manage endless administrative needs
Furnish two new residences (children’s beds, etc.)
