Ahmed & Hadeel: Rebuilding Our Lives and Future Together
Donation protected
My name is Ahmed, and my wife is Hadeel. We had a simple dream in life. I worked as a manager at a restaurant called "Restaurant Mohand" in northern Gaza. I bought an apartment for $30,000, furnished it with love, and it became our little sanctuary.
I married Hadeel on February 18, 2023, and our life was wonderful and stable. But on October 7, everything changed. The war that struck Gaza turned our lives into a nightmare overnight. We lost our apartment, which we had lived in for only seven months, and I lost my job. We fled from northern Gaza to Sheikh Radwan, and then were ordered to move to southern Gaza. We went to Hadeel's uncle's house in Khan Younis.
Not long after, on December 2, 2023, we were ordered to evacuate Khan Younis. We then moved to a school in Rafah, where we stayed for six months.
On May 13, 2024, we received another evacuation order from Rafah and moved to the coastal area of Khan Younis, setting up a tent by the sea. With winter approaching, we are deeply concerned as our tent is not equipped to handle the rain.
We are now facing extremely challenging conditions, especially as Hadeel is pregnant. All we ask is for your help to alleviate our suffering and assist us in rebuilding our lives.
Thank you for your support and generosity during these difficult times.
How Your Donations Will Help:
- Survival: meet daily living needs such winterizing a tent, food anddrink costs around $500 a month
- Reconstruction: Our apartment costs us $30000 which is need to rebuild our house.
