Vet Service Dog in Memory of Ahmed

My name is Benilda Hartman Madani and I am raising money to purchase and train a service dog for a veteran in memory of my husband Ahmed.
My husband, "Doc" was a physician who was a kind and compassionate man who spent his career caring for others. Ahmed had always been healthy, enjoying activities such as biking, gardening, golfing, and hiking. He recently passed away and had been ill for the past year. During this time he realized how important his health was as well as the physically and emotionally debilitating effects of chronic illness. His dog Mia was his companion, who never left his side, and I would like to provide someone else with the same gift.
I would appreciate contributions before December 1, 2016 in order to provide time for the service dog to be trained by my husband's one year anniversary in May, 2017.
Our family would appreciate any contribution in order to honor our beloved Doc, allowing him to continue helping the lives of those who served our country and their families.
