Freddie’s operation
Donation protected
This is Freddie, my nanny’s cat, who returned home yesterday (12/03/25) with severe injuries to his mouth. The vets believe he has been hit by a car. He is currently at Chapelfield vets in Norwich being monitored and fed through a feeding tube after having an operation yesterday. Freddie had to have his jaw wired back in place as he broke his jaw in 2 different places as well as having his tongue stitched back together. He also has a feeding tube in his neck as he is unable to eat by himself due to his injuries being so severe to his mouth and jaw. So far his vet bill is just under £2,500.
This is a lot of money for my nanny to have to find as Freddie is still going to be having ongoing treatment and needs an operation in a few months to remove 2 broken teeth. He hasn’t be able to have them removed yet due to them helping to keep his jaw stable.
Freddie was originally a stray cat in really bad condition until my nanny took him in a few years ago. He is a very affectionate cat.
Any donations as little as a pound are appreciate and if you cannot donate money sharing this post would be really helpful.
