AIB Business Banking Capital Markets - Toy Appeal

Hello Everyone,
In the lead up to Christmas it is always very busy and I am sure many of you are trying to squeeze in some time to figure out your Christmas shopping ideas as well as trying to cram in a mountain of work to meet the usual year-end deadlines.
There are also a lot of social and charitable events competing for our attention at this time of year and last year within Business Banking Capital Markets, through our CSR survey, we identified the Children’s Hospitals (Crumlin & Temple St) as the charity outlet the majority of us felt was the one we wished to support collectively.
Last Year
Last year’s fund raising was a big success across Business Banking (over €2,500 raised) and was gratefully received by both Temple St and Crumlin hospitals. Projects that the funding was used for included:
Play Therapy – fun and therapeutic events and activities for little ones who need cheering up:

Research – paediatric research for better, gentler treatments and cures:

The Butterfly Suite (a private suite where grieving parents can spend final moments with their child):
This Year
Given the strong support last year and the overwhelming survey endorsement as the Children’s Hospitals as our nominated Christmas charity outlet, the People & Culture Group are again arranging a GoFundMe page for the Children’s Hospitals this year and the link is as below:

The target is again €2,500. However if we can collectively stretch to €3,000, John Reynolds has agreed to personally deliver the giant presentation cheque to one of Temple St or Crumlin Hospitals dressed in festive attire and we will share the photos!
We will be in touch over the next few weeks to inform you of the fund raising progress as well as to share stories as we go of children who have been helped by either Crumlin or Temple St including sharing stories of relatives of staff members who have been so well looked after by these hospitals over the years.
