Support a Family of Six After Devastating Hurricane Flooding

Hello everyone, my name is Sofia Garcia (Lenoir, NC) and I am currently trying to help a very special family out due to Hurricane Helene. On Sep. 27th (Friday night), Juan, Mireyda, and their 4 children had to leave their house due to bad flooding from the hurricane. They live in Morganton, NC. One thing about Morganton is that no one has ever experienced this type of situation (since the 1940s as predicted). This was super unexpected and several of their items and utilities are gone (Fridges, couches, tables, chairs, etc.) Most of their items were left floating around the house. This is going to be a very difficult process for them, especially since they just had a baby a year ago. They are not able to work for a while currently either due to flooding at the job site. Any help for this family would be greatly appreciated to get them back on their feet again. We also stand in prayers for everyone else that has been affected by Hurricane Helene. This event truly has changed North Carolina. Thank you.

Hola a todos, mi nombre es Sofía García (Lenoir, NC) y actualmente estoy tratando de ayudar a una familia muy especial debido al huracán Helene. El 27 de septiembre (viernes por la noche), Juan, Mireyda y sus 4 hijos tuvieron que salir de su casa debido a las malas inundaciones del huracán. Viven en Morganton, Carolina del Norte. Una cosa sobre Morganton es que nadie ha experimentado este tipo de situación (desde la década de 1940 como se predijo). Esto fue súper inesperado y varios de sus artículos y utilidades se han ido. (Refrigerador, sofás, sillas, etc.) La mayoría de las cosas terminaron flotando en la casa y de se destruyeron. Esto va a ser un proceso muy difícil para ellos, especialmente porque acaban de tener un bebé hace un año. Actualmente, tampoco pueden trabajar por un tiempo debido a las inundaciones en el lugar de trabajo. Cualquier ayuda para esta familia sería muy apreciada y agradecida. También estamos orando por todas las demás personas que han sido afectadas por el huracán Helene. Este evento realmente ha cambiado Carolina del Norte. Gracias.
