Aid Amy Welsh's Family After Hurricane Devastation
Donation protected
My sister, Amy Welsh, lost everything during Hurricane Milton. She was the primary caregiver for our father, who had cancer and lived next door. She stayed despite the storm to care for him, and when the floor was giving out of her home, she had no choice but to leave and spent hours on a neighbor's porch before being pulled out. Unable to reach him, she vowed to return when the storm settled.
The next morning, he was found deceased. Not until yesterday (October 11) had waters receded enough to find everything destroyed. Her home and vehicle were destroyed by the water, a total loss. Most family lives here in Michigan and while unable to be present on the ground I am hoping to raise funds for her to help during this horrendous and traumatic loss.
Amy is one of the most caring and compassionate people I know, and right now, she needs some of that same care and compassion from others. Whether you are able to donate, send prayers, good vibes, or simply share this with others, please let's come together to help these wonderful people who now more than ever need community.
Below are links covering her story a d the loss of our father.
