Aid Asuquo Okon in His Fight Against Liver Cancer

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals,

My name is Godsgift Okon, the daughter of Asuquo Okon popularly known as Askor. My siblings and I are here to rally around and seek your support at this challenging time. Our beloved father, Asuquo Okon (Askor), is a middle-aged man battling liver cancer. It breaks our hearts to share that Askor is now in hospice care as his health has regressed. We are creating this GoFundMe page to raise funds and support during this incredibly challenging time for our family. We are juggling going to school, full-time jobs, and caring for our father, and it's been increasingly demanding and challenging for us. Dealing with a loved one's illness is physically, financially, and emotionally draining.

Despite being a fighter, a determined and hardworking man, Askor is unable to work due to the severity of his illness. His medical expenses, along with the day-to-day costs of living, have put an enormous financial burden on the family. As his loving children, we want nothing more than to ensure our father receives the care and assistance he desperately needs.

The funds raised through this campaign will go towards covering the following expenses:

• Medical Bills and Treatments: The cost of hospice care, medications, consultations, and any necessary medical procedures. Every contribution will help alleviate the financial strain on the family.

• Hospice Care: As Askor receives hospice care, providing him with the utmost comfort and support is essential. Funds will go towards ensuring that he receives the best possible care during his time in hospice.

• Daily Living Expenses: Without the ability to work, Askor is unable to provide for his and his family's basic needs. Your generous donations will help cover essential expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries, and transportation.

UPDATE(7/12/23): On July 11, 2023, our beloved father when on to be with the lord. He passed away in his home yesterday morning. In these trying times I hope you continue to keep us, his family, in your prayers.
