Thank you all who have donated and shared. We are asking for support to give Brandon the memorial he deserves. Brandon made a profound impact on all who knew him. Donations are being used to bring him home to MN from California along with the long list of expenses that have occurred after his sudden passing. The support and kindness the family has received is deeply appreciated.
03/19/2025 UPDATE:
Help Us Fund a Private Autopsy and Bring Brandon Home
Hi, my name is Shari, and I’m reaching out with a heartfelt plea. My family needs your help.

Our Beloved, sweet Brandon was only 35 years old when he tragically passed away. He was suddenly diagnosed with throat cancer, despite having no history of smoking or vaping. But cancer is not what took his life—we believe his death may have been the result of medical negligence.

Brandon spent weeks in the ICU, undergoing countless tests and procedures. Despite this, we still don’t have answers. Why did he suddenly go into cardiac arrest? Why was he taken from us so soon? The California medical examiners are reluctant to take his case, leaving us no choice but to seek a private autopsy. But this comes at a devastating cost—nearly $10,000, including the expenses to bring him home to Minnesota, where he can be laid to rest with dignity.

Brandon was a fighter, a healer, and a protector. He dedicated his life to helping others as a Physician Assistant, always putting others before himself. Now, we have a chance to return that kindness and fight for his justice.

We are devastated, and we refuse to let his death go unanswered.

How You Can Help
Donate – Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to uncovering the truth and bringing Brandon home.

Share – Even if you can’t donate, spreading the word can make a world of difference. Share this with your friends, family, and social media networks.

Brandon's parents and siblings have taken leave from work to fight for him and to be together during this unimaginable time. In addition to the cost of the autopsy and transport, they are facing significant financial burdens from travel, medical bills, and daily expenses.

Please help us get justice for Brandon. Any support, whether through a donation or a simple share, means the world to us.
Let's Show Brandon the love and support he showed all who knew him.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My name is Shari and if you're seeing this, this message is for you. SPECIFICALLY
My Family needs your help. My nephew Brandon is facing the fight of his life.
After weeks and weeks in ICU and too many tests to count, we still don’t have answers to why.
My nephew, Brandon, was transported by ambulance in the first week of February as he was having difficulty breathing. In the hospital, doctors discovered a large mass in Brandon's throat that was causing his respiratory distress. His coughing was so severe he fractured 3 ribs.
Soon after the mass was discovered, doctors found that Brandon had cancer. Since then, he has had a tracheotomy and has been battling pneumonia for almost a month. The doctors had been keeping him sedated while they tried to establish what the cause of the mass and breathing issues stemmed from and how to treat him. There are a lot of unknowns and in the beginning, they were trying to establish the cause of the distressed breathing and mass prior to moving forward with any cancer treatment. During the writing of this GoFundMe, we have been informed by doctors that his lungs are beyond repair and the damage has now affected his heart. We have been told that his organs may be affected in time. The family has been advised by the Doctors that they can do nothing more.
All of his siblings are traveling cross country to be together during this challenging time. His Dad has been travelling back and forth since he was admitted to ICU and his mother has been at the hospital for over a month, never once leaving and has been sleeping in his room and the waiting room since she arrived.
Brandon is one of those Guys.. He's Funny, Smart, extremely driven and all about FAMILY.
Brandon worked his ass off and followed his dream of becoming a surgeon and working in the medical field to HELP others. He graduated in 2021 and was offered a great opportunity in Northern California, which he accepted. He always comes home to MN to visit his Family, it's just who he is.
And now the family needs your help.
Here's how you can help Brandon and his Family:

***MAKE A DONATION:
Every amount helps, seriously. It all adds up and will go straight to helping the family navigate this uncertain time with day-to-day living expenses and travel.

***SHARE and SPREAD THE WORD:
Share this with friends and family or on your social media.

As we continue to fight and support him the family is meet with mounting financial burdens due to loss of work, travel and overall daily living expenses.
Any money donated will be used for mounting medical expenses and
to ease the financial burden during Brandons Fight.
Any Money you're willing to contribute is so greatly appreciated, and if you are not able to contribute financially, please share with your family and friends.

Thank You for reading this, sharing this, and any donation. Your support and any kindness counts and we are so grateful for all of it.

On behalf of the family,

Sincerely,
Auntie Shari
