Aid Corian's Healing from New Year's Attack

Hello everyone. My name is Corian Evans. A criminal justice major at the University of South Alabama. I'm 21 years old from Mobile, AL. I'm a survivor of the attack in New Orleans, LA on New Year's morning. I am very, very blessed to still be alive and well today.

During this attack, as I was walking down the sidewalk with my friends, the truck struck me on my right side and made me fall to the ground, causing me to have a fractured foot and a few bruises.

This traumatic event has caused me to be very traumatized mentally and physically. As my foot will be fractured over the next 4-8 weeks, I will be unable to work and attend class while having to cover medical expenses. I also plan on attending therapy for my mental health soon.

It is very hard for me to sleep, barely can eat as I have constant flashbacks of everything I saw. My heart completely goes out to the families of the ones who lost their lives!
