Aid Daniel Burger's Fight for Life

Hi Everyone,

My heart breaks as I write this, but I’ve decided to create a go-fund-me to help support my family as we navigate a difficult hospitalization for my father.

During the early morning hours of Saturday, September 28th, my dad tragically fell down a flight of stairs at home. The damage sustained has been extensive, including: a traumatic brain injury, fractured skull, fractured C3 vertebrae, facial and rib fractures. We felt hopeful when he arrived to the ER and was able to say his name, the date, and “I love you.” Unfortunately, two days into his hospitalization, dad stopped breathing (for reasons unclear) and went into cardiac arrest. He is now in a coma and showing signs of further brain injury, due to a lack of oxygen during these event(s). We are devastated and trying to make it through each day. My father’s mother (our grandma) passed just recently in July; he was hard at work handling her estate and things left behind.

If you’ve been lucky enough to know him, you know my dad is a wonderful man with a soft and sensitive heart. He’s worked so hard to make our lives better and all we want is to make sure he’s taken care of in return. *I understand the world is a busy and trying place for all of us right now, but any little bit helps. We are hoping to raise money to help pay for medical costs, loss of income, and future planning that may be needed.
