Aid Dave's Path to Full Recovery

PLEASE NOTE: This fundraiser is for the benefit of David Anaxagoras. Because I don't have a current photo ID I was unable to attach my bank account. Therefore I made my stepdad William Crane the beneficiary. Because I don't know how go fund me works, it looks like the fundraiser is for him. But it's for me, Dave.
I'm the creator and co-executive producer of Amazon's GORTIMER GIBBON'S LIFE ON NORMAL STREET. I've also written for Netflix's GLITCH TECHS and am the author of several short stories.
On Monday, Nov. 18th I was rushed to the ER with a blood oxygen saturation level of 80. I also had a dangerous infection in my foot. On my second night at the hospital I became unresponsive and could not be roused. My CO2 levels had shot up to 154. Normal is something like 35-45. when i finally came around, I saw a lot of frightened faces looking at me.
Things have improved since that day, though I have suffered a partially collapsed lung which has extended my hospital stay. I was in the hospital for Thanksgiving. I've also grown weak from being bedridden and require physical therapy.
I'm hoping to go home soon but will require continued care at home for my leg wounds from the infection, physical therapy, and follow ups with specialists.
I have insurance through ACA. Because Texas blocks Medicaid expansion, my insurance is barely affordable.
I am unemployed. My parents are 80 and living on Social Security. And while some might think TV writers are perpetually rich, I'm sorry to say this is not so. My residuals are now a few dollars per year. So I am asking for your help.
My goal is based on my hospital stay and ongoing expenses for medical supplies and equipment, prescription medication copays, health insurance premiums to ensure continued care, specialist office visits, home health nurse visits, physical therapy, and transport.
Every donation counts and will make a real difference in my life. Notes of encouragement are also deeply appreciated. I hope I can be home for Christmas. Hope most of all I will regain the focus I need to keep writing.
Until the next update, good wishes and good health to you all.
