Aid Diamond's Recovery: A Student's Plea

Hello everyone,

This is Diamond. I’ve had Diamond since she was 6 months old when we lived abroad and brought her with me to the U.S. Diamond turned 11 years in March, and all of a sudden, she became ill. After taking her to the vet, the vet is worried it could be an underlying infection, tumor, dental issue, etc… The vet isn’t aware of what it could be since the cost of blood work, x rays, dental x rays, fluids, medication, etc… are high. I’ve started antibiotics with her as prescribed by the vet and done some fluids. She has lost a drastic amount of weight due to her not eating or drinking water. The vet would also like to send her to a specialist to get her teeth checked and a more accurate head x ray. I need help. It’s been hard for me to cover her vet expenses because I’m a student and am working part-time, and the costs are taking a toll on me and I can only pay so much. My aim is to get Diamond better and how she was before.

Diamond is still very tired and exhausted and still isn’t willing to eat. Even after hand feeding her she will not proceed to the food on her own.
