Aid Doyle Rose's Journey to Health

My name is Debbie Martin. I live in Shawnee, Oklahoma and have a cousin, Doyle Rose (Bubba) who is from Port Arthur, Texas. At the end of last year he went to South Dakota to work at Ellsworth Air Force Base on some jet fuel tanks. His employer is Woyt Industries where Doyle is the Senior Certified Coatings Inspector. Around the first of January he experienced difficulty in breathing and a trip to the ER turned into 53 days in a coma and life support. Diagnosed with bi-laterial pneumonia and a fungal infection around his heart. Having no family with him at this location - no family was made aware of his situation until he was slowly brought out of the coma by the Doctors in March. He was taken off of the vent in late March and his lungs are clear. He can finally eat solid foods. We praise God that they are seeing improvement with medication on treating the fungal infection around his heart valve and he will not require open heart surgery. As of April 20th he is still in Critical Care and has not been released to Rehab.

Doyle is in good spirits and has much difficulty just trying to walk. He has not been able to work since the beginning of the year and will require a few more months in rehab once his heart situation is corrected. Bills are mounting both at home and medically. We would like to help him raise some money to assist with these expenses. Most importantly we request that everyone please keep Doyle (Bubba) in your daily prayers and the doctors who are providing him care. We love him so very much and want him with us many, many more years.
