Aid Edilma's Family in Recovering from Fire Loss

The Serna/Cavazo's is one of many beautiful families who lost their home this week to the Eaton Fire in Altadena. Edilma and her family have lived in the area for over 19 years and were looking forward to retiring soon. Edilma is an early childhood educator and professor who has dedicated her life to serving families and children. Her home was a sanctuary for many of us who needed her guidance, wisdom, and support. This was a home that held love, memories, and a deep sense of community. The devastation of losing it is not just the loss of a physical structure, but the loss of a space where kindness and care were always abundant. Edilma and her family have touched so many lives in Altadena and all over Los Angeles, and this tragedy is felt by all who have had the privilege of knowing them.
