
AID Blacksburg Fundraiser Dinner

Please join us from 5-7 PM on October 27 for a hearty Indian dinner in the Jamestown Room in the Squires Student Center, sponsored by the AID Blacksburg family for you, the generous donors. This will be followed by a free concert from 7-9 PM in Burruss Hall Auditorium performed by Karavika, a chamber quartet.
For a ticket to this event, please donate $40 (free for children under 15), either through this GoFundMe page or through the attached Venmo link. All proceeds go towards funding grassroots organizations in India that seek to promote sustainability, equality, and development in India.
The Association for India's Development (AID) seek to find and support such initiatives. The Blacksburg volunteer chapter is comprised of a group of motivated students and postdoctoral research associates and is kindly supported by Blacksburg community. In the recent past, the chapter has funded, and is currently funding, Digital Literacy in the Little Rann of Kutch, Watershed Development in Nipania, Jharkhand, and Flood Relief Efforts in Kerala. We hope to continue to research and fund similar projects to continue to make our own personal impact and your contributions are essential and much appreciated in helping us towards that goal.
