Aid Faraj's Family to Find Safety

Hello everyone,

My name is Faraj Al Absi, and I am a dentist from Rafah. My life and the lives of my loved ones were irreversibly changed after October 7th, when the war took everything from us. My dental clinic, my source of livelihood, was destroyed.

My family and I were forced to flee our home and are now scattered, living in desperate conditions. Currently, my brothers are displaced in Muwasi, Khan Younis, living in a tent. My parents, sisters, their children, and I have sought refuge in Deir Al Balah, also living in a tent. The conditions are incredibly harsh, and every day is a struggle to survive.

On July 20th, 2024, we received the devastating news that our house in Rafah, along with two of my brothers' houses, was destroyed. We have no shelter to return to, no place to call home. The situation in Gaza is dire. The educational and health sectors have been obliterated, and diseases and epidemics are spreading rapidly. While we endure these hardships, our greatest fear is for the 20 young children in our family.

We cannot bear the thought of them growing up in such an environment. In this time of need, I am reaching out to you for help. We have decided to launch this GoFundMe campaign to seek assistance in starting a new life outside of Gaza. A place where we can find safety, stability, and hope for the future. I have helped my friend Mohamed Alhobi raise money to evacuate his family, and he is close to reaching his goal. Now, I humbly ask for your help to support my family as well. We need your compassion and generosity to rebuild our lives, to provide a safe haven for our children, and to begin anew. Your support can make a profound difference.
