Aid for Adrian's Stroke Recovery
Donation protected
On March 25th 2025 my dad, Adrian Contreras, had a stroke. We are eternally grateful that he is still with us and has been able to make a slow, but progressive recovery. After a week stay in the ICU, he was transferred to a health care center. There he was getting 24/7 crucial aid including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. It saddens us to see that these days at the health center are coming to an end and we are struggling to find a facility that will continue to work with him.
At just 61 years young, he had no plans on retiring anytime soon and as the main provider for his home, this has been detrimental. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, he was forced to step back from his beloved landscaping business. Our family is doing the best that we can by stepping up to take care of the business.
Between taking care of the business and our dad post stroke, it ultimately has come down to needing assistance. This life changing event has impacted my mom tremendously, as she has taken on multiple challenging roles.
Due to being underinsured, my dad will be needing to continue physical therapy on his own to help regain mobility in the right side of his body.
As we begin to navigate through the new obstacles life has brought us, we would like lighten the financial burden to be abel to fast track our dad’s recovery. As we are running out of resources, we are asking for your financial support in order to take the burden off our mom and help us get our dad through therapy. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated. If unable to donate just sharing the page and sending a prayer would mean the world to us. God bless
