Aid for Albie: Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Albino Fuentes’ lighthearted spirit and infectious laugh have been a staple in the Palisades’ community for over 34 years. Affectionately named, “Uncle Albie”, he has helped nourish the hearts and souls of the Palisades community one delicious meal at a time at Cafe Vida since 2012 and as a former server at the famous Mort’s and Lenny’s Deli.
A testament to the countless lives his gentle nature has impacted over the years, it was not uncommon for families to request a picture with their favorite server – Albino – on birthdays, graduations, and weddings.
In his recent interview, it's easy to see why all those who know him, have come to love him.
Now devastated by the tragic fires, he and his family, like local residents are struggling to grapple with the loss of not simply a livelihood, but the places that have held years of cherished memories like these for so many.
Your generous contribution aids the Fuentes family’s emotional and financial recovery during this unprecedented time while Albino mourns and finds employment.
If you have a few extra moments, please consider sharing favorite memories, words of support, and love with your donation. We will be periodically sharing these to keep his spirits high.
The Fuentes family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.
All donations are curated and distributed by his daughter Kimberly. This page is created by his son-in-law. Please reach out with any questions.
